Hey don't matter. You sound like you believe in the Spirit of Volunteer Firefighting but the ones you are or were involved in don't share the same Spirit as you. I personally do not see any malicious or ill-will intent in your postings. Maybe just a little jealousy for not able to live up to your own expectations. However the acrid smell of bitterness in your postings is extremely Putrid. Take a listen to the Boss when he sings "these are better days". He quotes " every fool has a reason for feeling sorry for himself and turning his heart to stone" and further on he sings " it's a sad man my friend who's livin' in his own skin and can't stand the company.

Being a member at Good Will who almost always speaks his mind I think that it is every persons right to THEIR own opinion. But if it is an opinion that you wish to share, then you should at least have the guts to stand behind your opinion and let people know who you are and not hide behind a keyboard. Right now the only thing that DOESN?T MATTER is your opinion because it comes from a nobody. If you really did/do care about this or any other fire company then maybe instead of sitting at home hiding and trying to type, you should try and make a difference somewhere. Maybe make a meeting and share your opinions THERE where they can do some good. For a person who thinks they know so much about this fire company and how it should be run, where are you? Maybe the reason the same officers stay in place for so long is because some people talk the talk (like you) but can?t walk the walk, like the officers and firefighters that do it here everyday. And as for officers stepping down, that?s not THEIR responsibility. Our officers get nominated and voted in every year. Who did you nominate or vote for? Nobody!! So again your opinion DOESN?T MATTER!!!
I have been a card carrying member at Good Will for 13 years but I have been bleeding GREEN for 33 years. My name doesn?t end in an ?er? or ?ski?, or even a ?cyk? or ?man?. And these are not clicks, they are families of generations of people who do care about this company and what it means to them and the community.

It's not your last name or the click u speak of it's who does the job if u care about GW You would come to a meeting and talk about what is on your mind and u would not hide under don't matter and I would love to know if u were an officer at GW at one time and got voted OUT!!!!!!

Ur opinion doesn't matter because ur in delaware..... fire companies across the nation are affected by a decrease in active members and its because pole smokers like u. How can u live in delaware and care about the workings of this company as much as u do, you have nothing better to do but stir up hard working volunteers. Bottom line - the chief is an elected position. Again; don't worry about us we'll be fine. P.S. the correct spelling of "there"

instead of posting your s... on this guestbook book page. you should make yourself one of the top ten and show up for calls!!!!!! get a life and stay off the guestbook page and make some fire calls and/or public fundraising events. Thanks for caring about the green boys

well unfortunately ther is only about 6 members at this firehouse who even replied and that is exactly my point i think 4 are officers and ther opinion dont count cause ther just defending themselves any way im sorry for getting everybody panties in a bunch but my point is this we used to have 30 40 active members now were left with about 10 tops if the whistle blows now less then 10 will show up so the proof is in the puddin bottom line

I would like to THANK the members that bleed green at this firehouse for standing up for the firehouse and the officers.
