I"ve been a Member at Goodwill fire co. for 38 years. I seen most of the kids you are talking about grow up like Mike G. I started as a Jr. Firefighter I went through the ranks from Jr. chief to Jr. ER. went to Asst. chief under Bob Rath jr. you talk about the young guys like Jerry C. he is a good kid he works in and around the fire house you talk about 31, 32, 39,47,48,49,27 you must have been a member at all these fire houses at one point its people like you that runs your mouth like you are . I like to think all the people at Good will are my Friends and are like family . My family has been members here for years I"ve seen these kids grow up in front of me over the years they did their jobs to get where they are today so keep your mouth shut . I myself think they are doing a great job with the young kids keep up the good work guys . Hey don't matter. You sound like you believe in the Spirit of Volunteer Firefighting but the ones you are or were involved in don't share the same Spirit as you. I personally do not see any malicious or ill-will intent in your postings. Maybe just a little jealousy for not able to live up to your own expectations. However the acrid smell of bitterness in your postings is extremely Putrid. Take a listen to the Boss when he sings "these are better days". He quotes " every fool has a reason for feeling sorry for himself and turning his heart to stone" and further on he sings " it's a sad man my friend who's livin' in his own skin and can't stand the company.
