Just before 10:30 am on Wednesday morning, Engine 32 and Quint 31 were dispatched and relocated to Station 27-D while Norristown operated at a dwelling fire on the 1300 block of Locust St. While on stand-by, Engine 32 and the other cover-up companies responded to a fire alarm on the 100 block of W. Penn St. It was determined to be caused by burnt food and companies were recalled. The engine remained at 27-D until it was released just after 12:30 pm.
Rescue
7-15-08
Stations 31 and 32, with Rescue 27, responded to a vehicle accident involving one individual and a trash truck on Tuesday afternoon just after 2:00 pm. at the J.P. Mascaro & Sons building located at 315 W. 6th St. The rescue was completed in just under ten minutes by crews from Special Service 31, Engine 32 and Rescue 27. All companies were available after operating for just over 20 minutes.
